Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Paris France to British parents Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson who were both lawyers. They moved to Oxfordshire at the age of five where she attended an academy called the Dragon School. Critics have praised both the film and the performances by the three principal young actors. The Daily Telegraph in Britain that is distributed widely and widely read, praised her performance as admirable. Emma won the Young Artist Award as the leading young actress in a Feature Film. Emma was nominated five times for her performance in the movie.
